A couple of trends I’m seeing in the housing market, especially on the coasts. First, a larger percentage of the affluent are trading in their high-end houses for rentals as a way to save themselves from a collapsing market. Second, with demand for rentals rising, supply has fallen leading many to anticipate higher rents.
